Bassinet – Clean with dry wipe. Regularly check for moisture damage. Store the bassinet in a cool, dry place. Inspect the bassinet for damage before each use. Do not use the bassinet if it exhibits any signs of damage or moisture.

Step 1
Expand bassinet by pulling outward on side panels.

Lower mattress support into the bassinet with the tabs folded so they are pointing downward and slide into place until the mattress support is level and firmly in contact with the triangle supports beneath it.

Among other things, we have also performed world-leading testing for harmful substances including phthalates, PFAs, BPAs and heavy metals.
How does the plant-a-tree program work?
Our partnership with Ecodrive means that an actual Mangrove tree is planted for every Kind Bassinet sold. When you purchase a Kind Bassinet, you are making a lasting impact and one that is directly attributed to you. The trees we plant are Mangrove trees, and they are planted in a dedicated forest in Madagascar. Mangroves are one of the most effective and economic methods of absorbing carbon emissions from the atmosphere
Is the Kind Bassinet water resistant?
Kind Bassinets are treated with a non-toxic protective varnish coating for life’s messy moments. We recommend spot cleaning with a cloth as needed. In addition, the Sorona foam mattress is encased in water-resistant PEVA for easier clean-ups.
Can I purchase spare or replacement sheets?
Yes, 100% cotton white sheets are available for purchase.

Portable bassinet
This is a great bassinet to be able to move to different rooms. It was easy to put together. Ours did arrive damaged. I’m not surprised since this is made out of cardboard. That being said I wouldn’t use this as a main bassinet. I don’t know how well it will hold up. My toddler immediately wanted to sit on it and I had to keep him away from it. The design is beautiful and it feels high end. I received this bassinet as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel

Cute design and great functionality
I received this bassinet thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This was a very unique bassinet and I’m thankful for the opportunity to review. The design options are beautiful and I really liked the bee theme on the one I received. The bassinet is portable and was easy to move throughout my house, even when walking up stairs. The set up was extremely easy, only took me a couple minutes. I liked the simplicity of the bassinet and how they included a mattress pad and sheet. The set up provided a firm and safe space for my baby to sleep. I love that it is easy to set up and also take apart. It can easily slide under the bed for storage when not in use, and I could also see repurposing into toy storage as my baby gets older.

Portable and convenient
I received this product complimentary from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest opinion. My first impressions with the bassinet was how beautiful the colors and designs are; it's vibrant and fits with the theme of my house. The product is impressively sturdy. It takes mere seconds to open and set up. It's convenient and portable enough to move from room to room depending on where I would like baby to be. It folds up thin and takes little space to store. The included sheets are nice material and lovely color as well. Overall I quite enjoy this bassinet and it has been great for us!

Most adorable baby bassinet
I received the Kind bassinet through the Stellar testing panel and I am so grateful I received this bassinet. The design is so adorable and the bassinet is light weight, portable and easy to set up. The set up took only 10 minutes approximately and the directions were super easy to assemble the bassinet. The design is so adorable for a little girl or neutral for a boy. I like how the bassinet is super light weight and I can move it around the house or in our bedroom. Not to mention, this bassinet would be perfect for traveling and in small spaces and apartments. The crib sheet was so soft and fit perfectly that came with the bassinet and there was plenty of room for the baby to sleep comfortably. I was super impressed the bassinet was made out of cardboard and that when you are finished using the bassinet you can recycle the products. This bassinet really surpassed my expectations and I have nothing but good things to say about the bassinet. I received this Kind Bassinet- essential from the Stellar Product testing panel. Portable Bassinet
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant bassinet. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the Dock-a-Tot Kind Essential Bassinet and would definitely recommend it. This eco-friendly cardboard bassinet impressed me right from the start. Setting it up takes about 30 seconds (kind of like unfolding a cardboard box), and the design is super chic. Its collapsible feature makes storage a breeze, and the cool pattern printed on it adds a touch of style to any room. While the price tag may seem steep for a cardboard box, it’s really much more than that! The bassinet's quality mattress and sheet provided a cozy and safe sleeping space for my little one.
One of the standout features for me was its lightweight and portability, making it easy to move around the house or take on trips. I moved it out to my screened in porch a few times, and plan on bringing it with me on vacation next month. Additionally, the design just made me smile - my little one looked like she was sleeping in a chic little Gucci jewel box!
The only negative to this bassinet is that it’s pretty low to the ground. This didn’t bother me, personally, but I could see how this might be annoying if this is your only bassinet and you’re tall. I used this as my “around the house” bassinet, and kept my clunkier Baby Bjorn stationed next to my bed for night time sleep, so this wasn’t a problem for me. Sleek and lightweight
This bassinet has been a great addition with this little one. I really liked how easy it was to set up and how portable it is to move around. We don’t have a big home so it tends to stay in one spot but I like moving it to clean, etc.
I wouldn’t say this is a bassinet you should plan on keeping long term since it is made out of cardboard. With a toddler in the home it is challenging to keep them out of it as it would break pretty quickly. That’s why I’m giving it one less star. But if you’re looking for a great lightweight and echo friendly bassinet then this is it! Since the baby grows so quickly I think it really makes sense!
One other thing I love about this bassinet is the pattern options and overall aesthetics of it. It fits great and looks great next to our bed.

Super Cute
I received a Bassinet by Kind as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The pattern is super cute. I was suprised on how nice it is and how sturdy. It is also perfect to leave at my in-laws house for the baby during the day. The mattress was soft but not too soft. It also came with a really nice sheet. The set up was quick and easy.I have been using it almost everyday at my parents. I really love it.

Super Portable and Easy to Set Up
This is one of the more unique products I've recieved from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! When it first arrived, I was surprised to find the bassinet was made fully of cardboard. Initially, I wasn't sure about this, but as I used the product, I found the material to be sturdy.
What I love about this bassinet is the portability. It's incredibly light (my 3 year old can easily pick it up) and it takes literally only seconds to assemble. It's perfect to take with you when traveling or visiting a non-baby home. The design is also cute, and I love the mission of the company. My daughter seemed pleased in it as well.
My 4 month old is pretty long (99th percentile), so she would outgrow this fairly quickly as the bed is fairly small. I was also a little nervous with it being so low to the ground. I didn't let my dog around it and made my older kids stay away for the most part to make sure they didn't accidentally fall in on her. Although I'm still a little nervous about the durability of the cardboard of it were to get wet with spit up or drool, I had no issues!
All in all, I think this is a perfect bassinet for traveling or moving around your house regularly! It's light, easy to assemble (3 simple steps), and visually attractive.

Kind Bassinet
Loved the stylish and chic design of this bassinet due to it being portable, and easy to travel with. My newborn loves the beautiful bee design, and was very engaged with it. Very convenient to use throughout different rooms in the house, and easy to bring to travel with. The setup process was simple and the bassinet is lightweight, which is a great feature. While the material was different than expected, it’s holding up well and very durable. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant bassinet.
