How to Extend Patio Season
Prolonging patio season this fall is not just about enjoying the crisp autumn air, it's also quite possibly the only way to see friends and family during the pandemic. From milestone celebrations and Halloween get togethers, to grilling with friends, here are some tips on how to make sure your outdoor space is warm and cozy enough to entertain through the season.

Bring blankets outside
Stock up on some outdoor blankets and throws to snuggle up under during chilly fall and winter days.

Football Sundays and Movie Nights Outside
A projector and movie screen were some of the most popular summertime items to buy. But outdoor TV and movie watching doesn't have to stop in the fall. By investing in an outdoor-friendly television, you can still host football Sundays at your house.

Hand out Hats, Gloves & Scarves
Have a basket full of scarves, hats, and gloves at the ready for guests upon arrival. You can ask for them back at the end of the get together and throw them in the machine to wash and sanitize. You can also pass out hand warmers to guests as goodies.

Roll out the Carpet
Indoor/outdoor carpets add texture and layers to an outdoor space. Also, you can hide a warming mat under the carpet to keep feet warm.

Heat Your Seats
Invest in some heated stadium cushions and place them underneath the existing sofa seats on your patio.

Faux Fur for the Win
We love the look and feel of faux fur pelts draped over outdoor chairs. They also double as a layer of warmth for chilly weather.

Layer up the kids
If you're going to be hanging outside with the littles ones too, don't forget essential layers, such as hats and turtlenecks. The better job you do of trapping heat and not exposing their body parts to the brisk air, the longer your whole family will be able to remain outdoors.
